Das interdisziplinäre Kunstfestival artspace bremerhaven öffnet die Türen in der „Alten Bürger“ für Kunst und Kultur aller Disziplinen. artspace bremerhaven macht Straße, Werkstätten, Galerien, Treppenhäuser, Ateliers, Wohnungen, Gewerbeflächen und Leerstände zur Bühne, zur Leinwand und zum Resonanzraum.
Wir laden regionale, überregionale und internationale Künstler:innen dazu ein, ungewöhnliche Orte mit ihren Ideen, ihrer Kunst und ihrer Begeisterung zu bespielen. Die Künstler:innen sind aufgerufen, sich neue Kunsträume zu erobern. Dabei ist das Konzept sehr einfach. Ihr bekommt kurz vorher als Künstler:in einen aktuellen Leerstand zugewiesen, den ihr dann mit eurer Kunst bespielt. Eure Herausforderung: Den Raum zu eurem besonderen Kunstraum machen! Seid ihr bereit, außergewöhnliche Orte mit Eurer Kunst zu einem ganz besonderen Kunstmoment für die Besucher:innen zu machen? Dann schickt uns eure Idee!

The interdisciplinary art space Bremerhaven opens the doors in the “Alte Bürger” for art and culture of all disciplines. Artspace Bremerhaven turns streets, workshops, galleries, halls, studios, apartments, commercial spaces and vacant lots into a stage, a screen and a resonance space for art. We invite regional, national and international artists to perform in unusual places, show us their ideas, their art and their enthusiasm. The artists are called upon to conquer new art spaces. The concept is very simple. Shortly beforehand you will be assigned a current vacancy, which you can use then with your art. Your challenge: Make the room your special art space!
